Greetings,
I am writing this to share the concerns I had back then and to explain how Merge International Nepal-Philippines Education has been a part of my journey.
Are you thinking of going abroad for further studies? I was just like one of you planning to study abroad after completing high school in Nepal. These are a few things which I had on my mind back then:
i) Being Left Out: Why Merge International? Will I be lonely in a new country? Will I be able to be on my own for the upcoming years?
If I compare Merge International to a bridge between Nepal and Philippines, it is not a one-way bridge which will just send you to the Philippines and leave you on your own. But it does help you throughout your stay in the Philippines. It has helped me ease my transition to a new country and I can assure you that Merge is the sturdiest bridge available in town. Whenever I had any difficulties, I did contact Mam Lucy at Merge International and she helped me find a solution. To be on your own is quite a challenging task if you've never had such an experience before. But Merge International will not send you in a place where you'll be a complete stranger, you will have your fellow citizens and the new friends will mitigate the homesickness.
ii) Finances: Will my parents/ financial guarantor be able to pay for me during my studies?
One of the perks of studying in the Philippines in terms of finances is that you get to pay the tuition fee in installments. This is how I was able to save a huge chunk of my property being sold to be used for my studies. Merge International will provide an estimate of the expenses during the study period and it will be approximate enough to prepare for the finances. It is better to discuss these things with your parents or whoever will support you with your finances. Yes, the consultancy charges some fee for their service because it's their business after all. But each penny you have paid as a service charge will be reflected back on you as a service provided wholeheartedly.
iii) Dilemma of competency: Will I be competent enough after completing my studies in the Philippines?
If I were given a chance to rewind and choose where to study, I would choose the Philippines over and over again. Being a graduate of Doctor of Medicine from the Philippines, I feel competent enough and I can boast that you'll be provided with a world class study environment as well as enough practical exposure to make you a competent graduate. Ultimately, your competency depends on the interest you have on the subject you're about to pursue and the amount of sacrifice you're willing to put in your studies.
I assume many students have similar concerns and if you haven't thought of it yet, it's the best time to think about it. I do acknowledge that people deal differently to different situations but this piece of text is solely based on my story and my perspective.
Me and my family had a dream of adding the title “Dr.” to my name and you guys played a vital part in making that dream come true. While studying for the title, I got to make new friends, learn new languages and explore the beautiful Philippines. Thank you Ma’am Luzviminda Paluyo Thapa and Sir Sujan Thapa for always being there to guide me.

For a student to study Medicine abroad, there might be a lot of options, but quality always matters. I learned about the MBBS in the Philippines through Merge International Nepal-Philippines Education Consultancy. The head counselor Maam Lucy gave me all the information about essential requirements, and how things worked in the Philippines and took my admission as a top priority and even helped me settle in my college being with me. I like to pay gratitude to Merge International for the help they provided to me and the satisfaction that my parents have now.
Thank you

I am a Doctor in Dental Medicine graduated in the year 2020 with my Internship in 2021 and got my NMC license number. I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming a Dentist through the help of Merge International.
I first heard about the Merge International Nepal-Philippines Education Consultancy when I was doing my Prerequisite course for further studies in 2014. I got to hear about the prospect of studying in the Philippines and how Merge International has helped other students like me to fulfill their dream. When I met Lucy ma’am and Sujan sir at the Merge International office, they made me feel welcome and comfortable. I got this sense of guardianship from them which made me trust them and pursue my career through merge international. They gave me detailed information about the university that I was applying to and helped me with my processing and answered all my queries without any problem. From the day I went to merge till the day I landed and got my own place to stay in the Philippines Lucy ma’am of Merge International was always with me and making sure that I was well looked after, which made me realize that I came to the right place. If I had any problems or difficulties during my stay in the Philippines Merge International was always there for me.
From the year 2014 when I first started my journey to become a doctor to the year 2021 when I came back to Nepal, Merge International has always been there for me. Without their proper guidance and support, I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish my dream. I am proud to say that I am a product of Merge international and I would recommend anyone that wants to pursue a career in a Medical course to trust and go ahead with Merge International.
Lastly, I truly appreciate all the love, support, and prayers that Merge International has given me to make my dream come true, I want to thank Lucy Ma’am and Sujan Sir of Merge international for their guidance and care for me. Merge International is truly the ideal place for any students that need genuine guidance and support.

Choosing Merge International as my consultancy was one of my best choices when I decided to take up a Study in the Philippines. They have always been there from the beginning of my journey to even past the completion of my degree. Their constant check-in on how things are going and if there is any further assistance needed has been a great support while living and studying abroad. Not only they helped me all through the process of my admission, but they also helped to bring in study materials (books) from back home to grocery shopping in a new land has been great stress-relieving help for me. I have always appreciated the help they provided and I always pat myself on the back for choosing Merge International. You should too.

First of all, this is a trustworthy and discipline consultancy office. The environment, management, and atmosphere of this office are really peaceful and wonderful. I found them very good in every way because whenever we (students) got problems, they are there to help us all the way. From the beginning, they guided us on a good path like their own children. I feel so blessed and thankful to this consultancy and its team. God bless everyone!

I got immediately connected with them via Facebook and started chatting with their consultant. The people there were nice to me and supportive. They showed me the way and guided me on how to make the documents. The other thing I like about them is they charged me less for genuine service and guidance compared to other consultancy agencies. They called/communicated with the college I wanted to study in and had my personal conversation with them, not only that they went to my college in person to do some of my documentation which shows how genuine, serious ad fast they are.
I would definitely recommend Merge International if someone is planning to go abroad because:
- They are genuine
- They will charge you less
- They will give you proper knowledge and guidance which is very important for first-timers and even for experienced people
- They value your time and preferences
- They are up to date with the travel changes, restrictions, and policies which is a must
- They will do everything to help you

Dear Ma’am and Sir,
Seasons’ Best Greetings!!!
I love you, and thank you. The rest of this letter is an attempt to write something more eloquent and thoughtful, but those are the best and truest words I can ever speak to you. My son made the decision to transfer from the medical college of Manila to VMU, Sancarlos City for his Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. Despite being unfamiliar with the different hurdles of application cycles, clinical rotations, and board exams you were beside him the whole time to provide strength and encouragement, allowing him to turn his dream of becoming a doctor into a reality. Even though words like “anastomosis” and “lateral wall ischemia” may have sounded like a fictional language, you always let him excitedly ramble about different topics and pretended to be interested. Your advice before his first anatomy mid-term to remember that, “The hip bone is connected to the knee bone” has also been a vital reminder to keep a sense of perspective and humor in the midst of the more stressful situations. Over the past four years, you have been an invaluable calming presence that let him focus on his personal goals. I love what he does, but there are still times when the sacrifices and strain become uncomfortable. In many ways, graduation is simply the next step in his personal adventure. By completing medical school, he has earned both a very expensive piece of paper as well as the right to put two letters after his name qualifying MD exam in Philippines and NMCLE in Nepal. He will be signing his name as “Dr.Ashish Rahul, M.D.” I would like to express my hearty thanks to you Ma’am Luzviminda Paluyo Thapa and Sir Suzan Thapa for your sincere and kind concerns to him throughout his VMU medical journey. I wish all the best for your business and personal journey too.
Love always,
