The humble beginnings of Merge International Nepal-Philippines Education Consultancy (otherwise known as, MERGE), started in 2009, when Luzviminda Thapa, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of MERGE, first moved to Nepal to be with her husband, Mr. Sujan Thapa, the company’s Founder and Chairman.
Born and raised in the Philippines and a full-fledged Filipino citizen, the MERGE Co-Founder carries with her the pride of her country’s education system having graduated with a degree in Foreign Service from one of the best universities in her country. She attributes her professional success in the various careers that she pursued, from the education that she acquired from her own country. She has a strong belief that the Philippines produces world-class graduates capable of competing globally, especially in the medical field.
Upon learning that thousands of Nepalese students are aspiring to pursue international education, she took that as an opportunity to promote the many advantages of Philippine education. Her Nepali husband, now the Chairman and Co-Founder of MERGE, became inspired by these business insights and immediately formed the company, specializing in education consultancy and providing assistance and counselling to all Nepalese students intending to begin their international education in the Philippines.
Since then, Merge International has been focusing on building its name and reputation as one of the most trusted education consultancies recognized not only in Nepal, but also in other parts of the world.
Merge Internationational Nepal-Philippines Education Consultancy Private Limited (MERGE) was legally established as a private limited company with the Virtue of Act under the Department of Industry and Commerce of the Government of Nepal in 2011. Its permanent business office is located in Maharujgunj, Metropolitan City, Kathmandu, Nepal.
